How to Get Your First 10 Orders on WhatsApp
Your store is live. Now what? The truth is, your first orders will not come from strangers on the internet. They will come from people who already know you, like you and trust you. That is good news, because you already have those people in your phone.
Here is a simple 7 day plan to get your first 10 orders.
Day 1: Tell everyone your store is open
Open your eVendor dashboard and find the box that says Tell everyone your store is open. Tap WhatsApp and send the ready message to your status, your family group and your closest friends.
Keep it simple and personal. People buy from people. A short voice note that says “I just opened my online store, please take a look” works better than a long sales message.
Day 2: Post one product on your status
Pick your best product. Post a clear photo of it on your WhatsApp status with the price and your store link. One product at a time is easier for people to notice than ten.
Day 3: Message 20 people one by one
Choose 20 people who might like what you sell. Send each one a short, friendly message:
“Hi Ada, I just opened my online store for handmade bags. I thought you might like this one. Here is the link if you want to see more.”
Do not copy and paste the same message to everyone. Use their name. Personal messages get replies.
Day 4: Ask for a favor, not a sale
Ask five friends to share your store link on their status. Most people are happy to help when you ask kindly. Their contacts are new customers for you.
Day 5: Show your product in action
Post a short video of your product being used, worn or unboxed. Videos stop people from scrolling. Add your store link at the end.
Day 6: Make a small offer
Give people a reason to order now. For example: “Free delivery for the first 5 orders this week.” A small deadline helps people decide.
Day 7: Thank and follow up
Thank everyone who ordered and everyone who shared. Then follow up with people who replied but did not order yet: “Just checking if you still want the brown bag. I have 2 left.”

Ten orders will not happen in one post. They happen when you show up every day. Post on your status daily, reply fast and keep sharing your link. Your first 10 orders are the hardest. After that, happy customers start telling their friends for you.
