Privacy Policy
Last updated November 6, 2026
This policy explains what information eVendor collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to evendor.shop, every store built with eVendor, the vendor dashboard, and the emails we send.
eVendor (“eVendor”, “we”, “us”) is a product of IC MKT Agency, a subsidiary of LAskill Digital Services Limited. eVendor is an online store builder. Businesses use it to create a store, show their products, and receive customer orders on WhatsApp and by email.
This policy covers three groups of people:
- Store owners: businesses that create an account and run a store on eVendor.
- Customers: people who browse a store and send an order to a store owner.
- Visitors: anyone who visits evendor.shop.
Each store on eVendor is run by its own business. When you order from a store, that store owner decides how to use your order details, for example to deliver your order. For questions about how a store uses your details, contact the store directly. This policy explains how eVendor itself handles information.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run eVendor and keep it safe.
From store owners
- Your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored in scrambled form, so we can never read them.
- Your store details: business name, tagline, logo, brand colors, location, WhatsApp number, order email and currency.
- Your products: names, photos, prices, categories and descriptions.
- Your plan, trial dates, payment history and any eVendor referral credit.
- Details you send when you book our done for you setup: what you sell, links to your photos, your WhatsApp number and any notes.
- A custom domain, if you connect one on the Business plan.
- Messages you send to our support team.
From customers who order from a store
- The name, phone number, delivery address, notes and optional email address you type into a store’s order form, plus the products you chose.
- These details go to the store owner by WhatsApp and email, and are saved in the store owner’s dashboard so they can fulfill your order.
- If you report a store, we keep the reason and details you give us.
From payments
Payments for eVendor plans and setup are handled by our payment partner, Flutterwave. We never see or store your full card number or bank login. We keep a record of what was paid, the amount, the date, the payment reference and whether it succeeded.
Collected automatically
- Your IP address and browser type, used for security, spam protection and blocking repeated wrong logins.
- A count of visits to each store, shown to store owners on paid plans. We count visits; we do not track who you are or follow you to other websites.
- Your approximate country, if our network provider supplies it, used only to suggest a currency.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your information.
How we use information
We use information to run eVendor, never to sell it. Here is what we do and why we are allowed to:
- Create and run your account and store: to provide the service you signed up for.
- Send each order to the right store owner: to provide the service.
- Take payments and send receipts: to provide the service, and because the law requires financial records.
- Send important emails such as email confirmation, plan reminders, payment receipts, referral rewards and security notices: to provide the service.
- Build your store when you book the done for you setup: to provide the service you paid for.
- Track referrals and add referral credit: to provide the referral program.
- Block spam, fake accounts, scams and repeated wrong logins: our legitimate interest in keeping eVendor and its users safe.
- Review reports about stores: our legitimate interest in keeping eVendor safe.
- Show store owners their visit counts: to provide paid plan features.
- Improve eVendor and fix problems: our legitimate interest in a working service.
If we ever want to use your information for something new that needs your permission, we will ask first.
Cookies and browser storage
We use a small number of cookies and browser settings, all needed for eVendor to work or to remember a choice you made. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Login cookies: keep store owners logged in to their dashboard, until they log out or for up to 14 days if they stay logged in.
- Referral cookie: remembers the invite link you used, so the right person gets credit if you sign up. Lasts 60 days.
- Order basket: remembers the products you added to an order in a store, until you send the order or close the browser.
- Dark mode setting: remembers if you chose dark mode on evendor.shop, until you clear your browser data.
- Currency setting: remembers the currency you chose for showing prices on evendor.shop, until you clear your browser data.
- Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short lived cookie to check that a form was sent by a person, not a bot.
The dark mode and currency settings stay on your device and are never sent to us. Exchange rates are fetched by our server, so your browser does not contact the rates provider. You can clear cookies and browser data at any time in your browser settings. If you block login cookies, you will not be able to log in.
Who we share information with
We share information only when it is needed to run eVendor, and never sell it.
- Store owners: when you send an order, your order details go to the owner of that store. Your WhatsApp app sends the order message directly to them.
- Service providers who help us run eVendor, under agreements to protect your information:
- our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its data
- email delivery services, which send our emails
- Flutterwave, which processes payments for plans and setup
- Cloudflare, which provides spam protection and may protect our network
- ExchangeRate API, which provides daily exchange rates. Only our server contacts it, and no personal information is sent.
- WhatsApp: when you choose to send an order or message on WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles that message under its own privacy policy.
- The law: if a court, regulator or law enforcement agency lawfully asks, or to protect people from fraud or harm.
- A new owner: if eVendor is ever sold or merged, your information would move to the new owner under this policy.
We show stores on evendor.shop as examples, using only public store details such as the store name, logo, tagline and product photos.
International transfers
eVendor serves businesses around the world, so your information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own, including where our hosting and service providers operate. When we move information across borders, we use providers that protect it with safeguards required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it.
- Account and store details: while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your store, products and photos within 30 days.
- Orders: kept in the store owner’s dashboard until the store owner or eVendor deletes them, or the store is deleted.
- Payment records: kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 7 years.
- Security logs such as failed logins: a few hours to a few days.
- Backups: deleted information may stay in backups for up to 90 days before it is overwritten.
How we protect information
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), scrambled passwords, limits on repeated wrong logins, spam protection, strict checks on every payment, and photos that are checked and cleaned when uploaded. Store owners can only see their own store and orders. No system is perfect, so please use a strong password and keep it private. If we ever learn of a breach that puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
eVendor is for adults running a business. You must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you, or send you a copy
- correct information that is wrong
- delete your information and close your account
- stop using your information for a purpose you object to
- send your information to you in a common format so you can take it elsewhere
Store owners can update most details themselves in the dashboard. For anything else, email support@evendor.shop from the email address on your account. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm who you are first. We never charge for this.
Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
If you ordered from a store and want your order details removed, contact that store. If the store does not respond, email us and we will help.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as eVendor grows. We will change the effective date at the top, and if a change is important, we will tell store owners by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect.
